How to Consign Gear With Us
1st Step: Ask yourself:
- Is this gear clean?
- Is this gear in safe and workable condition?
- Is this gear modern (within the last 10 years)?
- Is this gear made by a reputable outdoor brand?
2nd Step: If you answered yes to all the above questions, you can either fill out our online consigment form here and print it out or you can come into our store and fill the contract out in person.
If dropping off 10 items or more, the consigner needs to bring in a pre-written or typed inventory list. This can be on any sheet of paper but must be legible. The list needs to include a description of each item as well as the brand, color, size and price for each. Here’s a template you may use!
3rd Step: Bring your gear into the shop! Our team will take a look at your gear to make sure it is in good condition and sellable.
We allow you to price out your own items but we are more than happy to help talk through prices with you and answer any questions you may have.
If you click on our ‘Products We Accept’ Consignment dropdown you will find what we take seasonally.
4th Step: Sit back and relax while our team sells your gear! We believe in recycling gear and making sure it gets a second chance instead of collecting dust in your garage. We are just as excited about selling your gear as you are!
Last but not least: Come into the store to shop with your store credit or pick up a check 48 hours after your item has sold!
Please note that SMR is not liable for lost or stolen checks. All checks are voided after 90 days.
Check Status of Your Gear
Sign into your account via the ‘login’ link to check on the status of your gear!
You can either come in and pick up a check or redeem it as in-store credit.
